Bank of Canada rate hikes to sting many home equity borrowers

Which government in particular? Seeing as the inflation appears to be global, could the blame be laid at strictly a national level?

The 2008 crash was due to dogpiled overrated CDOs. At least where I live, current rising costs are a natural result of restrictive supply/demand. Houses are selling for inflated prices because people are willing to pay it and there aren't enough being built to keep up. Or, at least someone, or a fund is. Not necessarily because people are over-leveradging themselves on multiple properties based on misinformation.

I don't kid myself into thinking this won't affect me, rather, how it will affect us and how we can losition ourselves advantagiously under these conditions. These things seem to be cycles, all we can do is ride the waves to the best of our ability & knowledge.
