Indians are quirky, the accent is funny, and some of the stuff you can find online is truly ridiculous.

This sub is disrespectful no doubt. Even you are at fault. All you're doing is generalizing and stereotyping a billion people by their accents. A billion people in India speak English with different accents depending on region.

Western media continues to stereotypically mock Asian accents to this day. Even Hollywood does it. The bias in your post is due to the media. By your logic, I should call Americans 'white supremacists' based on daily police brutality against Blacks.

The reality is Western media especially major news outlets show mostly negative news about African countries, India and China. Brown and black people are shown as filty savages. This is the reason why many Westerners still have outstanding and stereiotypical views of Asians and their culture (not just Indians).
