Spent a month in China last spring and had a number of conversations regarding the Uyghurs. I have yet to meet a single mainland Chinese who wasn’t in solidarity with their governments actions against Muslims. I’m not expecting for them to have power over what is happening, but atleast fucking protest or show the ughurs that there are Chinese people who care and are fighting for your rights. The only response I got from any mainland citizen was “I am with whatever the government decides to do.” Like mindless fucking robots. This has nothing to do with racism and everything to do with the fact that most of them can’t think for themselves. It’s what happens when you mix communism with a complete lack of morality. You get rat eating mindless robots who don’t blink at the sight of rape, torture and mutilation.
