Mine gets between 90-120 minutes a day of exercise. She’s almost 9 months old - staffy/border collie cross. From about 7 months old, after her spay recovery was when I started increasing her exercise. Before that her exercise was less than 60 mins a day. Basically I stopped following the 5 minute rule around 6 months of age.

So we do about 60 mins first thing in the morning which includes about 15-20 mins off lead time with some fetch, tug and chase. This sets her up for the rest of the day.

Then early afternoon we’ll do 30-40 mins or so either walking through the woods or around the big public cemetery on lead.

And then the third walk in the evening is optional - if Luna is looking tired we don’t bother, otherwise I’ll take her for a quick 10-15 min stroll around the neighbourhood.

She’s super high energy breed so I find getting her plenty of exercise including some off lead chaos every day really helps keep her chilled out in the home!
