Again, being friends doesn’t mean you should just indulge someone who isn’t up to standard, the discussion started from not being able to tell your teammate he sucks, being friends also means being able to tell someone straight to their face they suck, they should not be on the field yet cause they’re just bringing you down as a team.

The team comes first, individuals don’t matter in the team context, so it is perfectly ok to tell another teammate sit your ass down today you’re not up for it.

Next week maybe that person will tell someone else the same, the idea is you do whatever is needed for the team to win, being friends doesn’t mean you need to be oh, he is my friend, he sucks, doesn’t matter, mo, he sucks, he’s not playing.
