To be fair, Nicole never did anything wrong to Christine is s16, and Christine needlessly screwed her closest ally (Nicole) over. Outside of being bad at the game, Nicole didn't do anything to really be ragged on by Christine or the fanbase at that point. Nicole's personality shift happens sometime between s16-18. After she gains an online fan base and becomes a social media mogul.

But BB16 Nicole was truly the Fearless era Taylor Swift to BB18 Nicole being the Reputation era perception of Taylor Swift. At least it seemed that way in hindsight.

And I say all this as someone who was meh on Nicole in s16. For all the things people criticize Nicole for not being girls strong/putting a guy first in her s18/22 appearances, Christine did the same thing in s16. She let Amber leave, screwed Nicole over, and put Cody and the boys first. And even though I never hated on Christine, her moves were frustrating as she was begged as the woman with the biggest potential to win at the time of BB16. People were rooting for her early on in the show. What could have maybe been? Oh well.
