I think he is one of the most passionate of any of them about wanting to make a statement without the Cookout and has eluded to severe events in his personal life relating to racism. So I think he just feels desperate to keep promoting it in the DR and thinks if he doesn’t, he’s not fulfilling a useful purpose with this game.

His singular focus on the CO in the DR is also very very lawyer like, as a lawyer myself. The way he approaches DR is keep the message simple, consistent, repetitive, and as little about your personal interests outwardly as possible, and that’s how he talks (although I’m sure it’s also scripted a lot too so that’s a whole other aspect of this).
