The two most poorly written murders in the show?

Camera phones and or smart phones played a minimal role in the Michael Vick case, that’s 2007. Today I’d assume technology has made that lifestyle a lot more risky, wouldn’t be surprised if there’s rules on phones in that world.

The Amanda Knox saga is a lot riskier for the killer today, too many people and places have camera access. Killing on a whim is significantly different today than in any other era.

Aaron Hernandez’s downfall can easily be avoided before the smartphone era. His every move was tracked it seemed, up until 2008 I could see certain links impossible to prove, ie (footage of him getting in the car and footage of every single stop they made, even the construction site had cameras seemingly everywhere).

2010 is when it seemed like any murder on a whim is too risky, because of technology, ie Aaron Hernandez, Brian Laundrie.
