Just wanted to hear some sage advice from older subs about what I should expect in my undergraduate experience. You don't have to mention where you went, but it would help, especially if you think it would be a toxic environment for Asian men. If you take the time to answer this, thank you! Questions as a future college student: What is your opinion on fraternities, including career oriented ones? And what about Asian fraternities? Was the Asian Student Assoc./Korean Student Assoc. experience at your school worthwile? Were they full of Uncle Chans? How was the relationship between Asian Americans and Asian Asians? Korean Americans and Korean Koreans? Different Asian ethnicities? Did any of you with decent skill speaking your respective Asian language find that it helped you blend in with better with Asian Asians? Or were you ignored? What clubs/groups could you recommend (Obviously varies by college, but still)? Where have you found the most success finding lasting relationships with women? Have you studied abroad in Asia or Europe? How was it? permalinksavecontextfull comments (73)reportgive gold Anyone get into Williams? by StringJohnson in ApplyingToCollege [–]Superguy702 4 points 19 days ago Yeah, it's okay. I have casually heard about Amherst, but I did not really know much about the "Little Ivies" until I someone I knew got into Williams and I researched them. permalinksavecontextfull comments (11)reportgive gold Anyone get into Williams? by StringJohnson in ApplyingToCollege [–]Superguy702 3 points 19 days ago I didn't even apply, but one dude who did posted on r/collegeresults permalinksavecontextfull comments (11)reportgive gold Baby boomer looks for an employee (xpost from /r/4chan) by DoritosDewItRight in lostgeneration [–]Superguy702 1 point 20 days ago Pro advice here! permalinksavecontextfull comments (88)reportgive gold Weekend Free-for-All Discussion Thread | March 11, 2016 by AutoModerator in AsianMasculinity [–]Superguy702 2 points 20 days ago What about something semi-realistic, with time travel, etc? Nine: Nine Time Travels, and, somewhat cheesier, either the Korean (Dr. Jin, 2012) or Japanese (Jin, 2009) drama adapation for the manga Motoka Murakami? permalinksavecontextfull comments (95)reportgive gold [DISC]Lookism Chapter 65 by DokAwesome in manga [–]Superguy702 1 point 21 days ago Good find. But I'm pretty sure he has gotten some work done. He was definitely already quite handsome and tall before, but I think he got a nosejob to make himself a smidge better looking from the discussions online. You know how the first few plastic surgery procedures made the handsome Michael Jackson look incredibly handsome? Something like that. permalinksavecontextfull comments (15)reportgive gold Weekend Free-for-All Discussion Thread | March 04, 2016 by AutoModerator in AsianMasculinity [–]Superguy702 8 [–]Superguy702 2 points 1 month ago Maybe it won't work for you, but when that happens, I pretend that I like the teacher. If you have done anything to piss them off, e.g. talking back, cheating, etc, give them an apology letter. Talk nicely to them and all. At the same time, when they break school rules, policies, instructions, etc, report them to the head teacher of their subject or the principal his/herself. Anonymously.
