You have a ton of expenses ahead with Med school erc. What you describe is your family not having a lot of savings. Your parents won’t be able to afford you and your siblings at expensive schools on that salary - maybe not even you. Go for one of the free schools. Unless, If you are in Texas would you be eligible for UT Austin auto admit based on your class rank etc?

My son is NM also with food allergies - you can get a free ride to University of Central Florida - their dorms in Honors College are apartment style with full kitchen, meal plan is not required. You can also get a free ride at University of Alabama.

Don’t apply ED anywhere - things can change and with multiple free rides available, and your parents financial situation don’t ED a school - what if Dad looses a job, or someone gets cancer in your family - things can change quickly and you don’t want to have let these opportunities pass you by and not even apply. Research the Med schools themselves also - ignore the “dream school” mentality with a $200 price tag.
