NEW OR NEED HELP? Ask here! - ScA Daily Help Thread Mar 26, 2023

Looking for help! I've been using the same products for a long time now (years), and I've always had some acne, mostly ccs, on my cheeks, jawline, mouth area, and sides of my eyes, with my forehead usually being clear. I feel like my skin is a bit on the dryer side until I use Cerave PM, then I feel kind of greasy afterwards.

My routine:

AM: cleanse with water, then cerave PM on damp skin. Mermaid Skin Gel UV as my sunscreen, although I haven't been using it over the winter because I rarely go outside, and no change in my acne.

PM: Hada Labo Japan Gokujyun Hyaluronic Acid Moisture Bubble Foaming Cleanser in the shower, then Cerave PM on damp skin.

I've been told I have large pores, so I think maybe it is the Cerave PM that is clogging them and causing ccs. I've read Neutrogena Hydro Boost Facial Gel Cream for Extra Dry Skin or Aveeno Calm + Restore Oat Gel Facial Moisturizer might be good options to try. I've tried the Neutrogena before and don't remember much, but my routine was changing a lot back then so not sure how well it worked, but it didn't give me a terrible reaction (or else I would've remembered it), so I'm thinking of trying it again.

Thanks in advance for any advice!
