People don't believe me when I tell them that kids know they are gay... sometimes very young. They may not yet have sexual feelings but they have feelings and absolutely in a romantic sense for the same gender if gay. Not all kids are created the same. Some kids don't have crushes for many years. Others have pretend boyfriends and girlfriends in preschool. I've talked to a young person once and they were around this age and opened up about feeling gay. The kid was afraid his family wouldn't want him. Some kids this age kill themselves over shit like this. It's rare but it does happen. Self hate also happens when people try to tell kids what and how to feel. Mad props to Pete. He's a great guy. I'm not voting him for president just yet as I'm for Bernie but what I do hope is he and Bernie work together.
