I chose an APU to keep costs down. Sims 3 on A10-7850k

I chose the motherboard because it supports four ram sticks for expansion in the future.

For the memory, I chose a dual channel kit of DDR3-2400 to get the most performance out of the APU's onboard graphics.

For storage, a 120gb SSD with a 1tb data drive offers the best price to performance ratio.

The Fractal core 1100 case will fit all the parts in this build and have some room for expansion in the future.

I was able to fit an AC wifi adapter into the build.

The monitor choice is the best performance low-cost 1080p monitor that I could find.

The Katar mouse it a well-reviewed mouse at a reasonable price.

I chose the Zalman mechanical keyboard because I believe that a mechanical keyboard is a great addition to any computing experience.
