PICS

It's no beauty queen, it's not elegant, it's not exclusive, but it is a lot of fun. I bought my 20 gauge pardner a few years ago for fun in the backyard range. I think I bought it new for about $160 at walmart. It is the cheapest gun I have bought, and it is my favorite to shoot. I have about 800 rounds through the gun (birdshot, buckshot, and slug), have never had any issues. I chose this over the remington because it offered more features for less money. I chose it over the mossberg because it offered more features for less money and because I do no like the safety placement on the mossberg.

For being so inexpensive it has a lot of features, threaded modified choke already installed, receiver is drilled and tapped, ribbed barrel, oversized forend, comfortable recoil pad, bright orange follower, mag tube plug (I took it out since I don't hunt. Who would bird hunt with a 18.5" barrel anyway?), sling points already installed, and a brass bead sight. It is heavy, but there is very little felt recoil, even with slugs it kicks less than an AK. 10/10 would buy again.

The only downside is there is pretty much no aftermarket accessories but accessories for remington 870s might work. I put on 3 dot fiber optic sights (TruGlo model# TG942XA) and I added a UTG universal picatinny rail to the mag tube in case I want to add a light later on. Mag holds 5 or 6 rounds (2-3/4" & 3" shells), wish I could find a 2 round extension but so far no luck. The extension tube for the 870 will not work on the pardner without some modification that I am not willing to do.
