See the ending for me could have worked better if Eren was not treated like a hero by Armin and everyone else. He just killed 80% of the population. He did it for his friends but Sasha and Hange died because of him, Levi is stuck on a wheel-chair, Jean and Connie though now safe turned into titans and could have been killed by the shifters in defense. Armin and Mikasa were also endangered and could have died at any point. And he took the lives of so many innocents, children. He even killed his own mother. And after all that he cries for Mikasa after emotionally destroying her, being responsible for her best-friend's death and killing so many people. He has the audacity to cry for his crush after destroying so many lives and not for his actions. If Eren was treated as a straight-up monster and villain, committing the worst crime in human history then I would have liked the ending better.
