I think the point being made was that the comedian cracks a joke about UKIP then the audience laugh in response. The laughter is the grape, reinforcing the conditioning to make further jokes about UKIP.
Yes I understand what he meant. Its just not an example of conditioning. It's what a performing is supposed to do. Getting you to believe this nonsense is however an example of conditioning.
He's quite aware of the irony and uses it as a tool to highlight the inconsistency of the initial position. That's the whole purpose of his rants and why they aren't just screeds, but self-effacing social commentary.
What a load of pretentious nonsense. Its not social commentary its hate filled ranting. Eliciting feelings of hatred is the give away (or feelings of disgust if you don't fall for it).
Fighting fire with fire to draw attention to it. I've enjoyed Pat for years and other than the points he's now making being more readily argued without censure these days as a result of the fading influence of the PC he rails against he still is interesting to listen to.
Fighting fire with fire leads to escalation, which gets people hurt, which is pointless. You're obviously trying to use language you wouldn't normally use and it shows because it doesn't quite flow or make sense. Maybe try using some commas.

Yes a fitting end to a convoluted, ignorant, hate filled demonstration of why, if you ever met Pat Condell in person, you should avoid looking him in the eye and walk away very slowly.
You like him because you like feeling angry. Pat's very good at helping people feel angry. Both those that agree with him and those that can see what a fraud he is.
The reason you like feeling angry is inside you. It's your emotion, you create it. Underneath that is probably depression. Allow yourself to feel the depression. It will pass. And afterwards maybe you will stop looking for others to blame.
