even kerug machines aren't as painless as they first seem. the one we got has turned my family against me and my coffee maker. first of all we only use filtered water in it, i dont know why, but its just a rule my mom made, because its precious or something it only deserves the best water, while my normal coffee maker is ugly and wretched. my mom threw my coffee maker down the garbage shoot because it made a mess on the counter one time too many times. she went down and got it out later and brought it back upstairs and said shes sorry. but did my coffee maker deserve that 30ft fall and to spend the night with garbage? no it didn't. the only crime it was guilty of was leaking a little and that was really more my fault. im just lucky it didn't break.

she's prejudiced against it because it took up too much space next to the kerug, who is like the wealthy person living next to the poor people they look down on.

i normally make coffee with my coffee maker since i like to make 6 cups and put it in a thermos. but sometimes im allured by the kerug and how fast and easy it can make me one cup of coffee. i just like to put regualr water in it, and not use the filtered water we are always running low on, but whenever my mom catches me at doing this, it's like im poisoning the family pet. and i get chastised for putting regular water in it. then i have to go my brothers room to get the k cups. nobody trusts me with kcups, they think i will drink them all within a day. he hoards the k cups, and i have to either sneak in while he's sleeping to get one, or hope that he lets me have one.

ive expressed my feelings but they still love the kerug machine.
