Yes, definitely. There was a story with so many tags, and literally, you didn't have to read the story, it was all in the tags! Hmm... my advice would be... if you're changing canon from the beginning as in... Character A and Character B were married in canon, but in your story they're not, you tag it. You're changing something else and it's a pretty obvious thing in the canon, you tag it. And then you tag the main tropes your story has. If you know what they are. That should indicate what the story is and gain you some readers. And preferably tag the triggering stuff, we've had exhausting conversations about that here, tldr some people think you need to tag the triggering stuff like rape, some people don't wanna tag it, because it's a spoiler...
