why cant i get bho to muffin?

Thanks for replies, forgot i had made this post. I scrapped first two batches and marked it as trial n error. Messed around few more batches and experimented more but was just way off with end product. Think i was overwhelmed just reading 20 methods via forums and tryon to follow them but hving conflicting results.

So went in clear headed monday and kinda just winged it, with best results so far though im sure im still going about it wrong. Ill try to answer your reply with last method.

-still have to figure out the hg woth elevation level as u noted.

-i shot into pyrex and let sit on griddle at about 90 degrees, oil was around 86 i believe. Purged that way for about 30 minutes til it was a maple syrup consistency then placed in oven. Had oven set at 93 degrees, oil sat in there for about 45 minutes, believe oil temp was high 80s (my note book isnt handy). Ran vacuum pump and muffined up and stopped vacuuming at 27hg (number stuck out from a previous read) and held it for about an hour. Released vac and it fell. Let it sit for a bit then pulled vac again this time to 28/29 on hg dial, pump ran for an hour half then shut off and kept vac overnight.

Came back and it looked like i was on right track, had that spider webby look and thick like shatter. Took it out, quick freezer sit to flip as was sticky as shit. Put flipped patty in oven set at 93, let oil raise to 86-88 for half hour and pulled again. Lots of action for few hours. Flipped and repeated 2 more times. Let it sit out after, was a 100 degree day so wasnt snapping like shatter but looks better than last weeks attempts. During this batch from monday to today also shot two more batches, about the same way minus initial pull. At forst vac pull i went to 29hg and sat with pump running for few hours. Then repeated with flipping.

-thickness varies, smaller 10oz runs were slimmer goop on parchment, 18oz run was thick and took up big portuon of parchment but managed to not let muffin hit the walls of oven.

Ill try to upload a few pics from the attempts, or wpuld it be cool to pm ya for a few pointers? Promise not to bug or excessive pms lol. So aware im probably way off on the process but this weeks runs look descent to me. Luckily it was fairly meh trim so getting practice in wasnt too risky or costly. Harvest time ib a few weeks so hope to get this down by then and have good fresh trim, frozen etc. Also just picked up a book on extracts which will be a major help, reading some tonight. Thanks
