Capcon advice?

First off, I'll be there and I stand out (I will likely be dressed as a giant Coyote and palling around with a giant blue dragon). Feel free to just say hi.

Otherwise, as someone who has been to A LOT of conventions, what I think the best advice I can give you is to find other people who are into things you are into. Groups will just form at events - there may be people drawing, gaming, at the bar talking about drinks, etc.

Find the people that are doing things you like and say hello. Cars Against Humanity or Apples to Apples or similar in the board game rooms can REALLY help with that. It's pretty easy to ease into meeting people when you are all there to play games.

Also, take a page from the book of Furries; find people on Twitter or Telegram who you might want to meet and talk to them a little before the con. It's a little too late to start a full on corespondance before the con starts, but you can always be like "oh I'm going to CAP too I hope to see you there!"
