Sorry, I see how that came across now. No, we the US didn’t exterminate the Japanese like we nearly did Native Americans or Nazi Germany did the Jewish people. Just that a bunch of white people also gained control of farmland after Japanese internment. So interment had multiple “benefits” (/s) since the Japanese landowners never got their rich Californian land back once they were released. I am definitely not intending to be a Nazi apologetic - what they did was insane.
