There is always the option of not having children.

Although I am gay and chose not to have children i am now about to help my sister buy a house for her and her kids because she split up with her partner and can't afford to buy one by herself and my dead brothers wife and kids a house because well my brother is dead and his wife and children are broke.

Sometimes not having children if you aren't financially stable enough is the right choice to make Perhaps I wouldn't be facing the prospect of giving a lot of money a way if my relatives decided on the same thing.

So simply don't have children and you dont have to worry about how you are going to raise them.
