Chloe Dykstra details Chris Hardwick's repeated emotional and sexual abuse during the course of their relationship

Sorry, Ms. Dykstra, but this isn't the way to deal with your past pain -- considering Chris Hardwick has been married for two years, this comes off as intended to damage his professional and personal life, rather than to provide closure or healing.

Let's call it what it is: public shaming of Hardwick for being a shitty c-list boyfriend. Is this the new #metoo? People who have bad relationships with semi-famous celebs now get to "share their pain" so that others can take a dump all over said celeb?

And to dispel any preconceptions: many (if not most) celebs-- even so-called nerdy ones-- are emotionally damaged children with whom relationships are going to suck. People don't go into "entertainment" as a primary occupation without a need for recognition and adulation. This is further exacerbated in romantic situations, where one partner is "famous" and expects to be catered to, purely on the basis of such fame. When relationships are based on unequal participation and respect, someone is always going to suffer. In this case, it was a twenty-year old with esteem issues, who is still trying to work through them.
