Client wants me to house sit dog for a few hours with baby asleep in another room?

I don’t think it’s entirely strange. I actually currently work as a nanny to an AMAZING family, because I watched their dog on Rover for thanksgiving. I knew at the time they had a 5 month old, but never thought anything of it. It’s their first kid, their dog is their first kid.

Anyway I did such a great job and felt comfortable with the family, they asked if I had nanny experience. Fast forward 3 months, I’m fully employed working for an awesome family. Sometimes new parents are just having a hard time, with things like sleeping. They trust you enough to be there to help them, and to request it. If the parents weren’t home - that would def be babysitting and you should get paid IF you want to do it.

I think they just need some extra help; felt comfortable enough to ask you. New parenting, and no sleep is killer.
