Neighbor is a Horrible Sitter

I’m not going to respond to the rest of your message but the “she has had many clients in a short period of time, so I feel confident in concluding she is a horrible sitter” is kind of off-putting to me. I started on Rover in July and have averaged 4-5 dogs per night since then. I have 40, 5 star reviews and have busted my butt to get them. Every dog gets at least one 30 minute walk, we do puzzles/games, fetch, hide & seek, outside play time, and all of this is documented with tons of pictures and videos.

I know that the rest of what you said may coincide with you claiming she is a bad sitter, but having multiple clients in a short period of time by itself does not.

Also how on earth would you know that she gives the dogs with separation anxiety trazodone? She’s just telling you all of this? Or are you assuming?

I’m not trying to be rude but you sound extremely judgmental. Like I kind of can’t believe some of the things you said in your post.

If the dogs are really barking and howling at all ends of the day/night and she is never home, it’s pretty simple. You either call Animal Control, or you call the police for a welfare check.

With that being said, I really hope that my neighbors are more kind and understanding than you. I have dealt with numerous dogs that have horrendous separation anxiety to the point that they have to sleep with me in my own bed, so I’m sure when I have to step out to run and feed my horses they might hear them crying. If someone called me a bad dog sitter over that, I’d probably burst in to tears because this is my entire life and all I strive for is to provide the most comfortable stay for each dog.

I’m sorry you’re frustrated with your neighbor. Maybe you should have a legitimate conversation with her.
