Your talk about about suffering and humans is obnoxious. Do you have any idea how lucky even the poor still have it in this country? We inherited the greatest nation in the history of the world. Granted, we have been seeing decline since the nation peaked over a half-century ago, but even the disadvantaged people have opportunities that most people in the world can only dream of.

The nation has declined to the point where Jimmy Carter 2.0 won re-election against the best "establishment" candidate one could possibly hope for. If the electorate hadn't been changed by Kennedy's immigration bill and by Reagan's amnesty then it would have been a historic landslide in favor of Romney! In the 2016 cycle the only Republican that had a better than 50% chance of beating Hillary Clinton was Donald Trump. If Hillary Clinton won in 2016 then Scalia's (and, in all likelihood, Kennedy's) seat would have gone to a left wing judge, potentially all that Clinton (or a lame duck Obama) would have needed to attempt executive amnesty. "Refugee" resettlement would have if anything increased. The Democrats would have changed the electorate so that more conservative states would have been successfully turned blue. And they were already eying Texas as their next "Florida". If they had gotten to that point then conservatism would have been DEAD for AT LEAST a generation or two. Trump's election didn't save the country, but it gives us a chance. Trump is expecting to replace 3 or 4 more justices. This is huge. We're going to need them because even if Trump fixes immigration, trade, and education tomorrow we've got this Millennial generation that is full of complete morons who will eventually nominate someone as extreme as a Sanders or a Warren, and they will propel people like this to the White House. Trump's SC appointments can serve as a firewall to protect the country from itself when the far-left wing Millennials are in charge.

You claimed to believe in evolution in your other comment. Don't you see what is happening before your eyes in this country? I had just explained to you that most kids in this country are in homes that are dependent on the State, and that half of them are living in broken homes. I guess you have a hard time understanding how this stuff might affect a nation over time. Perhaps if you watched the movie Idiocracy you might understand this a little bit better? With the notable exception of religious people, people who have their shit together tend to not have a lot of kids in this country nowadays. Short of banning all forms of birth control and abortion the only way we can hope to reverse this particular trend is to reverse the trend towards secularism. Anyways, based on our conversation I'd imagine that if you had any kids that it wouldn't exactly be helpful here. I'm not even sure how someone who thinks like you could have even turned out to be a Trump supporter. All that "mean humans" and "Mother Nature" talk makes you sound more like a Bernie voter who smokes too much pot than a Trump supporter.
