I’m currently a junior in the program and I wouldn’t say that it is bad. There are some professors that are worse than others but that’s with every major here. Before switching to CS I would recommend that you look over the major description and required courses to get an idea on what you’ll be taking and if you’ll actually be interested in it. If you are still interested then I would go to a site called codecademy and do a few of their lessons on python to see if you find programming interesting. Do note that programming is just a small part of CS. The CS program here isn’t impossible but definitely has its moments where you’ll feel stressed, so definitely get help when you need it because it is very easy to get left behind if you don’t understand the topics.
