Yeah they won’t show you that stuff there but if you’re interested in a more in depth look at what the career is like, one of the ways I recommend doing so is watching every YouTube video about it you can get your hands on. Lots of people make “come to work with me” or “pros and cons” type videos. Some of my favorite creators were Kristy DMS (Kristy Le), lolgeselle, Tessa Kay, and Jamie Lyn. There’s probably even more creators and vloggers out there now since I did my program.

Even better if you can, see if you are able to contact local hospitals and find a shadowing opportunity! That’s the best way to truly see for yourself what the job is like and in fact for many schools this will go a long way to strengthen your application in comparison with other candidates.
