no no its alright. I was mostly adding on to what you said really. I completely agree with everything you've said. Sadly these things are not as clear cut as we would think them to be at first glace. I'm glad I've learned better since my previous naive beliefs. Abusive families are not some abstract thing nor a very overt thing much of the time. They're a real and common occurrence we should keep in mind as a possibility when helping someone out or offering advice (i.e. "its easy, just call family to pick you up from the hospital" assumes they have family) & things like that. Not that I've ever ran into a missing person anyway as far as I know.
