Considering moving to Portland in two years. A few questions.

It doesn't feel humid here because when it's humid it's chilly and it falls as mist or rain. Summers are dry. Snow- depends. Usually not a big deal except this year. Rain is oct-June. Like all the time. Mosquitos aren't a big deal unless you live on a lake. West coast bug situation much like California. Traffic sucks because a bazillion people move here every day. Public schools are better then 70s schools so I have been pleasantly impressed by the teachers etc but the buildings are literally falling apart. But my kid learned zinns a people's history in 8th grade and I call it a win. Sports equals blazers or soccer or whatever. Beaches are cold year round. It smells like rainy soil and fir trees. Please take the bus or bike in rain. It's a lot like Portlandia minus exaggerating factor, but burbs are more like burbs anywhere. Applebees and Best Buy's. You should know that our growth rate is high and the city is Inanna phase struggling to deal with the growth. Your rent will be unpleasant and no,e prices are like 3 Texas homes only the size of the Texas garage.
