TBH since i move around so much its hard to feel like its really home, but I can't imagine being anywhere else right now. I grew up in rural southern oregon and never really fit in. I came to Portland because everyone down there said to never come here, so of course I had to. At first I was worried a little town person wouldnt be cool enough for the city, but with my values and beliefs being reciprocated by my new neighbors I fit in like a glove. What really sealed the deal for me was when I took a week long vacation home for the first time in years and nobody would answer my calls. Meanwhile my PDX peeps blew up my phone asking where I was at. I knew at that point where I belonged.
