My 11 year old son is on the autism spectrum. He’s a wonderful kid that rarely asks for much. He spends most of his time playing video games or reading as he doesn’t have many friends. Kids in school can be pretty brutal at this age when they don’t understand why someone is different than they are. His Christmas wish was simply to receive mail (cards, postcards, etc). He loves seeing something in the mail with his name on it. Thankfully I’ve been able to make that happen. I would love to be able to do more for him but times are tight (for many like me).
