okay thats what Im seeing then, you were tongue tied...make sure you explain that to whomever you go to for your split. I suspect from the image that your frenulum was running between the muscle halves and attached high on the sulcus. This would explain the apparent thickness at the tip in the photo. It is highly likely that they will experience a significant amount of scar tissue when separating the muscles.

You may want to focus on trying to find an oral surgeon rather than a modifier. Finding one willing can be a challenge sometimes and their degree comes at a premium...youll probably be looking at $1000-1500 through them but given your medical history....it might save you a trip to the ER if your modder turns out to be more ambitious than skilled.
