Country Stars React to Las Vegas Shooting: ‘I Cannot Express How Wrong I Was’

You certainly have a thing for pedantry.

I think I'd be willing to stand down range of the guy bump firing the 1911 in your example. Those shots were all over the place. If that's what bump firing a pistol looks like, then it's not much to worry about, at least not compared to the level of control possible with a long gun (now show me an accurate grouping from a bump fired pistol).

You, nor anyone else knows how long this person has been planning this attack, nor the meticulousness by which he did so.

While I'm no fan of the TSA, it's hard to argue with their results. Anyone who has managed to get a weapon onto a plane hasn't been willing to use it yet.

And yeah, what I meant by weaponizing a plane is using the plane as a weapon. Not having a gun in the cockpit, weaponized. Like the TSA example, we've yet to see when that cockpit gun did anything to stop an attack. Do we know for sure that the guns are actually there, or is it the suggestion that one might be there that's kept people from finding out for themselves?
