Why has the cruiserweight division been dead for so long?

lol yes, exactly. i will keep naming nations that do until i've named most of the ones on earth, justifying my original statement.

I assure you that "most" of the nations on Earth do not have an active heavyweight scene. An no, Europe doesn't count as "most of the ones on earth".

you said it was "just" america, which is ludicrous.

No, I didn't say "just". Re-read what I wrote.

Moreover, there's a big difference between "love" and "hate". Germany and Ukraine certainly don't hate the heavyweight division -- they, in fact, love it.

However, their love for the heavyweight division isn't that much different from their love of the cruiserweight division. Cruiserweights from Germany and Ukraine do quite well for themselves.

It's in America where the love of heavyweights makes the cruiserweight division financially unfeasible.

if you want to keep naming small as shit countries

Japan, the country that's given the world sumo wrestling, should have more than 5 heavyweights if they loved the heavyweight division so much.

like nicaragua, like that proves anything, go ahead.

You mean the country that gave us Alexis Arguello, Roman Gonzalez, and Rosendo Alvarez?

When it comes to boxing, Nicaragua is not obscure.

the rest of that is just nitpicking by you. 3lbs and not 5lbs?

Not nitpicking. The lower your weight class, the lower the weight differential is. Hence, the difference between minimumweight and light flyweight is 3lbs while the difference between light heavyweight and cruiserweight is 25lbs.

who cares?

Anyone who watches fighters below 130lbs or above 140lbs.

that only amplifies my point if anything

Your point is shoddy and ill-researched.
