For aspirants with high ranks, only advantage putting CSAI above core CS is that it might increase the chance of getting Freeship or Scholarship that is valid for whole 4 years. 100% or 20%, it's a lot of money and if saved, can be used for further education or internship at foreign universities. If both CS and csai are marginally different (irrespective of high claim made here on CSAI and even if that is not true), putting CSAI above CS may get scholarship/Freeship. CS cutoff anyway going to be low this year and 5% quota of all scholarship is expected to close below 50 as most may not release their seat given the uncertainty over JEE. However one must compare the course structure carefully before making the judgement.
