1) It’s not just that he has not commented on it. It seems that he has (intentionally or not) moved or removed a significant amount of Bud Light products or paraphernalia from his desk and others desks. This is coming 2 months after he not only told people that there would be a huge announcement coming, but also made a 12 minute long video to announce the promotion including a rap portion about how much he loves Bud Light. I also heard from other users that he removed Bud Light stickers from the chat (although I can’t confirm that because I’m not a member so I can’t chat on YouTube). It seems like a pretty jarring change from the huge announcement he made before. Also, it tends to track from other things he’s done in the past, that his intentional removal of these things is a sign of things to come. He removed the Fan Duel logo, and obviously we know what happened with that. 2) Pat HAS spoken on plenty of other subjects that don’t pertain to sports. Subjects that he has even less of an involvement in than this. He’s spoken about Covid, masks and mandates; he’s spoken about tragedies that have happened, such as shootings around the country; he’s commented on January 6th. He’s obviously not required to say anything about this subject, but this involves a brand that he seems very passionate about, so it’s a bit strange. 3) Pat has always claimed to be someone that “loves everyone” from all walks of life. He’s stood up for gay people, POC people, poor people, so it seems to reason that he would also be in support of trans people if he truly believe in loving everyone. Going back to the first point, the removal of the Bud Light things seems to indicate more so that he is siding with transphobes (I’m not saying that he is a transphobe or even that he definitely is siding with them, just that it seems like it from his actions), so if he really was about the whole “love everyone” thing, I would expect he would say something. He is not required to say anything obviously, but judging from Pat’s past actions, I would think it would be something worth commenting on if he really does believe in loving everyone.
