Think the dark of night got me...look like a face cord?

That looks more like a 1/2 cord (maybe less) but it's hard to tell when the pile is fluffed up like that. Buyer beware on firewood purchases. I sell a ton of firewood every year and I live by these 3 rules: #1 always give a little extra in every load so there's no question as to if it's a full cord, 1/2 cord, etc #2: always make sure the person will be home to take delivery and let them inspect it before offloading #3: always take a picture of the load in the trailer and off the trailer as proof of delivery. From the buyers side: always be home to accept/inspect your delivery especially if you've never bought from that person before. Always request a receipt of payment for the transaction. It takes 5 seconds to hand write one and if the person isn't shady they should have no issue with it. Always ask for a picture of the wood in whatever vehicle it's being delivered in (trailer, truck bed etc) never accept a picture of a fluffed up pile on the ground.
