David Cummings = annoying voice

I agree that there is an element of camp to David's style (didn't like his voice when I first started listening), but for me that really just plays into the show's appeal: between the variety of writers and narrators offered, I never know exactly what to expect from the show, and have come to really appreciate that it covers a broad range of styles. I like that a single episode can include more melodramatic narrations as well as realistic and understated ones. In addition to the high production quality, the variety reminds me that I'm really getting a lot out of the show.

I love Knifepoint Horror, but it delivers something very different IMO. The author of that podcast has basically stated that it's intended to be antithetical to shows like NoSleep, removing flourish and focusing on realism. I think what NoSleep delivers is closer to a revival of old radio drama, while Knifepoint Horror really gets at that eerie campfire/early Creepypasta vibe.

I dig both for what they are but see where you're coming from. My two cents.
