You are correct! It is disability discrimination. I mean the person in charge has said this to me: the individual from the Medical School who is in charge of placement allocation has stated this: “You can put Reasonable Adjustments in place which could include those relating to placements, but it does not mean that a place must be created for you at your preferred placement location.”

I guess I just don’t understand why they have made me do all this and approved my documentation and appeal but are saying it is not possible? I haven’t proven any reason to defer a year and they keep saying there are limited spaces each year but what I don’t understand is that if there are limited spaces how can they make a space in the following year but not this year?? Hopefully the dean is able to resolve this as it’s so unfair to not be supported.
