[April 10, 2016] Supernova (Online Tournament)

Welcome to Supernova: a three-stage, 1-day online Splatoon tournament.
If you're interested in competing in a tournament that mixes the regular formula up a little bit, then you've come to the right place!
Date/Time: Sunday, April 10, 2016 at 8am PDT/11am EDT/3pm UTC. Runs for approx. 6 hours.
How to Sign-Up
*Read the Rules *Fill out the Registration Form *The deadline is April 9, 2016 at 6pm PDT/9pm EDT/1am UTC. *The team’s captain must join the tournament’s Discord server no later than April 9, 2016 at 6:30pm PDT/9:30pm EDT/1:30am UTC.
Tournament Structure *9 tournament rounds *Runs in 3 stages *Check-in will begin 90 minutes before the tournament begins. *Any team that does not respond during the check-in period will be disqualified. *The tournament will hold anywhere from 16 to 32 teams. *The map list for each round will be released at least 24 hours before the tournament begins.
1st stage: *8 groups (Groups A through H) of 4 teams will compete round robin-style *5 games per match *Top 2 teams from each group will move on to 2nd stage
2nd stage: *4 groups (Groups Alpha through Delta) of 4 teams will compete round robin-style *5 games per match *Top 2 teams from each group will move on to 3rd stage
3rd stage: *Remaining 8 teams compete in single elimination bracket *Quarter/Semi-Finals: Best of 5 *Grand Finals: Best of 7 *Resulting in one final winner
