Defense Ammo for use in MCX

Your reading comprehension is lacking; I didn't state use the same caliber they are I stated use "This Brand - That Type".

Worst case scenario that is one less factor to sway the 12 "peers" that could determine one's fate. Even if the actions are legal and justified, that does not mean you no charges will be filed. Not everyone will be a viral star that raises millions for their defense. Do you really think the police do not detained one person after shooting another person on their property? Do you really think a suppressed subgun helps the situation? Where is the common sense? The shooter will be held in a jail until cleared or arraigned and making bail. If the DA sees that and the circumstances aren't clear, you're F'd, cut and dry facts deadman because you heard a noise woke up between 2-3am.

Put up exterior cams, they won't save you but may help your story, don't use hunting rounds for defense. Watch any trial coverage of ammunition and see how the prosecution tears in to it. Minimally you want something that states defense. It is typically illegal to intentionally kill and that is what hunting rounds are for period, even if it is the same projectile that these details are manipulated. Hence using what LEO does because you probably do not engineer munitions or have the same educational background as one who does.

Again worst case scenario; odds are the majority of people reading this cannot liquidate enough assets to put a retainer on an attorney and make bail. Typically a 10%+ each bail bond puts a lien against collateral, so you will no longer be able to refinance or sell it. Assuming an attorney picks up the case, potentially you aren't loss or they need money, they'll will expect to see proof of liquid assets to cover their fees and expert witnesses in a timely manner. Does your sell everything today price / actually value on everything your own net ~$2m? OK, maybe you're not as high profile as the KR, but half that and consider the cost of attorney for several hundred hours, bail, safe houses, security detail, etc. $1m doesn't last long when it comes to keeping people alive. There are other costs not even mentioned. Once charged it is very unlikely the charges will be dropped. You will most likely plea as you cannot afford an adequate defense or your family will go broke and you will still get sentenced. It is a numbers game, do everything not to be in the situation. And be mindful that a few minor tweaks changes the story. Being an apartment dwelling Tom Clancy extra reject who shot the guy who occasionally drinks too much goes to the wrong building and attempts to unlock the wrong apartment will not help you in anyway. The only people acquitted are those charged by overzealous DAs, those guys tell stories better than you or I.
