I have been somewhat fixated on the Root Cause of the AMOS-6 Falcon 9 Failure and something has been stuck in my craw for the last few days “Electrostatic Flow” and until I saw this detailed analysis of the explosion along with the actual reference of Electrostatic as a potential ignition source within this analysis I was too skeptical to throw it out there as a leading failure mode…

I am leaning towards Two Very drastic changes that the new Falcon 9 has employed as drivers in the latest Falcon 9 Failure… I Just can’t let this go and I am going to hang it out there… I believe the Super-Cooled Condensed propellant upgrade is going to be the Devil within the details of this investigation as well as the Second Stage being the Falcon 9’s weakest link.

2,) The addition and use of Super-Cooled Condensed propellant

I was also somewhat leaning towards the camp that this failure was due to an External Source (Strongback / New Super-Cooled Condensed Propellant Pluming) but after this analysis I am now in the Camp of this failure being of an Internal Source… But still in my mind I think inadvertently SpaceX has Created a Bomb… and yes I know… this is a controlled explosion but the key word is “CONTROLED”.
