Did I screw myself creating a Club Account?

You are mistaken in so many ways.

Yes, this is actually a semi-competitive game. The fun/competitive side is what motivates me to walk more.

I'm constantly fighting for gym control. Multi-account users easily cheat by switching between accounts and there's all sorts of ways to stop legit players, which I won't dive into. Not looking to spread strategies to cheaters.

Here's an easy example though: Lately, I've been unable to access my usual gyms because of all these New, Low Level accounts... I know their locals that are trying to get coins on their Alts, to do extra raids (blah blah blah, I've heard it at the raid meet-ups). Well, now all the legit players in the area are losing spots to snag coins, and get extra items from spinning the gyms.

That's one of the least harmful affects of multi-accounts screwing over legit players who follow ToS and pour their play time on to one account... as intended.

So all these raids people are going to with multiple phones and bragging about multiple accounts they're leveling up or catching stuff on, etc... they're cheating. They are directly breaking Terms of Service, as this is a long-standing problem even with their original game, Ingress.

To be honest, I don't understand how they don't realize they're ticking off any legit person within ear-shot. How do multi-account users not see it as cheating or breaking Terms of Service, just like Spoofers?
