Difficulty in bringing up transference

I just brought this up to my therapist a week ago. It took me 5 months to even understand I had been going through it pretty hard. I just told her I wanted to talk about something very uncomfortable but I had to get it out there.

I explained all the feelings I was having and asked was it weird? She told me no, that what I was feeling was transference, and I felt so relieved the way she handled it. I told her I had felt really creepy lmao.. She validated everything I said though.

So.. Maybe try just going in like that? Saying it makes you uncomfortable but you need to talk about it. If that feels good to you as well. It feels a LOT better just getting the feelings out there so I definitely think it's worth bringing up in whatever way feels the best.
