Disabled military vet preparing to emigrate to S America. Will disability be an issue?

What does this have to do with the topic of this post? To address your points though, veterans didn't create their benefits, including disability compensation. Also, not all disabilities are physical. Also, you have to prove that it was service connected. They don't just give it to you. You need medical records and statements. Some conditions are presumptive, like exposure to agent orange and burn pits. This is usually decades after many veterans die from these conditions with no benefits. Every other claim must have proof. Your argument is weak and edgy. I get that you hate the military and the wars they've been involved in. So do a lot of us. A lot of us were young, ignorant, and didn't have many other options when we joined. If you think vets are welfare queens, feel free to join and get this "free" money. I'd gladly trade my paltry $43K a year back for a sound mind and a good civilian job. This vet just wants to fuck off to south america and try to enjoy what he can of his life. Why the fuck do you care so much?
