Not so much the accent, but you would be surprised how much Irish-catholic tradition and culture carries over.

Even tho it's watered down through the generations. Some things are still there.

And I don't mean the obnoxious green beer loud American bs. I'm sorry you guys have to put up with that crap.

Like legit, things. Catholicism. Even very subtle cultural tendencies that people don't really think about until you experience them.

I think it's kinda cool.

My great-grandma who raised my grandma who helped raise me. And so in this way I still follow the Irish rules rather than the American ones.
