Discussion: Reasons for India's Passive batting at the end

India haven't really hurt their chances of qualifying for the semis one bit. The only team that has suffered after this is Pakistan. Sooooooooooo.. 0.o

An extra O's added for extra emphasis, and I don't know about you, but in general, your statements convey that you believe all the conspiracy theories coming out of Pakistan, and yet you say that you don't necessarily believe in the conspiracy theories.

If we go by your parameters of judging the integrity of any team then we should also be judging Pakistan for throwing the game against West Indies, because I didn't see any Intent or will from the Pakistani players to stay in the middle and fight it out. So, let's call the Pakistani players fixers, Cheaters and a team which throws away matches now shall we, or does the same parameters of Intent do not apply to your team?

But how do you explain losing the match with 5 wickets in hand?

How do you explain a team like Pakistan getting out for 105 that too against Windies, and how do you explain the same Windies chasing down the total in 13 overs at a run rate of nearly 8 Rpo when your team is supposedly one of the best bowling teams of the tournament? Did Pak throw that match?

The partnership between Kohli and Rohit was so slow that even Pandya couldn't bring the run rate down

Remember India vs Pakistan match? You were chasing the same total that day as we were against England, and for the most part, your batsmen played the same way as ours did against England, so can we assume that Pakistan was not playing to win and threw away the match as they did against Windies and Australia?

In this match, we were head to head against England for the better part of the game irrespective of losing an opener for 0, and having a slow start in the powerplay, but we lost in the last 10 overs due to Dhoni, so it would be fair to criticize Dhoni for his innings but to say that an entire team threw the match is a very Pakistani thing to do, and a disgusting one for non-Pakistanis. Now, Let me state some facts,

  • India has a weak middle order as everyone knows.

  • India depends on it's top 3.

  • India plays slow during the powerplay and then accelerate during middle overs.

  • Average Indian score during a powerplay in this world cup is around 40 when we don't lose a wicket, and it was 27 against England when one of the openers got out for ZERO.

I think the best evidence that shows India did not want to win was the fact that there was only one 6 hit in the entire innings.

Only a Pakistani can say things like that, and if we go by stupidity to question a teams integrity, then

BD vs ENG - BD scored 2 Sixes compared to 14 by England. I guess BD wanted to lose the match.

In Pakistan vs Australia, Aaron Finch got Hafeez out. I guess Hafeez fixed the match and wilfully threw his wicket.

In Pakistan vs Afghans - Fakhar got out for ZERO and Pakistan hit just ONE six, so according to your theory, Pakistan was trying to throw the match.

We all know how Hafeez is getting out to players who hardly bowl, are you suggesting Hafeez is a match fixer?

You can clearly see why we can't talk sense with a Pakistani because of your Victim complex mentality combined with a delusion that you guys are owed something from the entire world.
