Is there anyway to prevent “scammers” as a host? I was hosting with a fairly high buying price today, and there were a few people who tried to “scam” me by not paying the entry fee, running past me and trying to leave with the minus button. When this happened I immediately force quit the software, but I don’t know if the visitor would still get their money this way. I know this works for villager trade scams but just wanted to confirm if anyone knows if it applies to turnip selling as well? And I also heard that it could possibly spoil their turnips if the host is ahead of them in time (which I was)

Btw I did fence off the path to my shop but there were a few instances I took them down and that’s specifically when the situation(s) happened.

(I know kicking them off my island might’ve been a bit harsh, as the only thing I technically lost was time. But I did spend a lot of time TTing/setting up for this and other kind people who actually paid spent a lot of time waiting in the queues so it’s unfair to them as well. I did make sure the scammers were the only ones on the island when I quit tho, if there were others I didn’t force quit even when I got scammed)

please whether you’re a visitor or a host, just don’t scam people!!!
