The fact that some of us were banned from a sub that we find childish speaks more to a modteam that can't handle any sort of criticism than it does the people who were banned. To say that people who are friends of the mods are treated the same as people who are critical of it is flat out incorrect. It's not even debatable at this point.

I did message the mods on multiple occasions about my concerns including the user who threatened to abuse the dashboard and not only was nothing done, sometimes I didn't even get a response. If that user had not been a friend of the mods or if I would have been, something would have been done.

Friends of the mods will absolutely get repeated slaps on the wrist as opposed to permabans with zero warning or even a temp ban. Some users getting preferential treatment/protection is where all the bodies are buried in the things that have occurred in the last 6 months. Hell, the incident that caused most of the splitting was when a friend of the mod asked for feedback on his puts and takes. He was given the feedback he asked for and thanked people for it, but mods couldn't handle one of their own receiving criticism even though everyone was respectful. A sticky was made about "Don't say anything about anyone's puts or takes". It was ridiculous because the OP SPECIFICALLY ASKED FOR FEEDBACK. Incidents like that is where the "childish" sentiment comes from. This sub and CA exist because of crap like that. The same mods that have an issue with CA and BZ never stop to realize they are responsible for their existence.

If you dislike this sub, you must really dislike hangouts/irc. I've seen/heard things said there that are similar or worse than what's said in this sub. You can't say one is fine and the other isn't.

I posted the pic in here with a user's full name. I did it on mobile to prove a point about the types of things mods say. I didn't realize what I did and removed the picture immediately on request and apologized for it. I posted the pics on the sidebar as a joke and I would have removed them if asked. I never thought it would cause the crap it caused. It's not like I sent someone prep h or vagisil because they spent a lot of time and money trying to participate in the community. But hey, if you're a mod and you offend someone, they're just a butthurt faggot. If you're the one offended, permaban time.
